You cannot get an economics GCSE if you don’t understand the laws of supply and demand. It is that basic. Yet this government seems to not understand it at all. Nurses and doctors are leaving the country to work abroad, after years of training in the UK, because the pay is higher and the conditions far better. House prices are at ridiculous levels because the government does not build enough of them.
