Why so worried?
There was a headline yesterday in a right wing paper about how Jeremy Hunt wanted to remove as many barriers to trade with the EU as possible. Fair enough you might think, although very cakeist.
His government put the barriers in place and removing them is not easy. But the reaction from the Brexiteers was to scream treason, again.
Apparently wanting the best possible trade relations with your biggest trading partner is a betrayal of Brexit.
Following this to its logical conclusion, true believers should want the greatest possible number of barriers to trade with the EU. Machine gun posts, barbed wire and minefields would be the wishy washy half measures that only a remainiac would be happy with.
It is true that improving trade links is difficult without cooperating with the EU, but seeing this as treason tells you all you need to know about how far the revolution has gone.
It sees betrayal everywhere, in everything and everyone.
This is paranoia not politics.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
