Poor, poor Mr Johnson, he has a book to sell and hoped to do so by publishing his usual lies and banal stupidities but then occasionally even he accidentally lets the truth out.
Apparently he was let down by his old school chum David Cameron, who did not have a plan for Brexit and walked off rather than come up with one. This was a shock to Johnson as he didn’t have a plan either, nor did Gove, or anyone else on the Leave side.
To be fair they didn’t think they would win, just wound Cameron enough to take the top job, and so they didn’t need a plan, why they thought Cameron had a plan is rather more difficult to explain.
But it comes down to this, the biggest post-war disaster for the UK was perpetrated by two schoolboys reliving their earlier rivalry, who abandoned the country once they had wrecked it and then blamed each other for having no plan to fix the mess they and they alone had created.
To be fair to Cameron he didn’t break our relationship with the EU so he probably thinks he shouldn’t have been expected to fix the mess. But then he was in a little job called Prime Minister at the time and it is kind of his responsibility to help the country, lead it, set an example, prepare for scenarios etc.
If he had done that he might have been able to set the agenda and we might have stayed in the Single Market, but he didn’t, he waltzed off humming.
But it does totally explain the looks on Johnson and Gove’s faces on the morning of victory, shock, fear, dumb incomprehension and also why we got such an awful deal. The idiots had no idea what they were doing, what was achievable or even how the EU worked.
And still we have to put up with endless articles and interviews with this totally failed human being. He can never admit a mistake or even what really happened, he denies to this day that he has done any damage to the UK at all and has no ideas for a way forward.
He is laughing at us.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.

Given that he reads all this depressing crap for us (bojo’s ‘memoirs’, Daily & Sunday Torygraph etc) I think Jonty ought to get charitable status for services to the truth
Just a schoolboy rivalry - so which school would that be, and how many other entitled crap politicians has it turned out?
