There seems to be an increasingly noisy section of the Tory party that is only too happy to shout about its madness.
They think that if it is not possible to bring Boris Johnson back as PM or even as an MP then he should have a leading role in forthcoming general election campaign.
Mr. Johnson himself is doubtless pushing this idea, the ambition of the serial lying, fraud and cheat is in inverse proportion to his talents and abilities. He really believes his own publicity.
But the Tory party dropped him like a stone because he was a serial liar, a fraud, an incompetent, who partied while telling the rest of the nation to stay home and isolate and who ran the most incompetent and poisonous No.10 operation in political history.
Mr. Johnson is despised and hated by most people, it is only the few gammons in the Tory party who still dream of the return of their blond god.
I am pretty sure everyone else would be happy for him to lead the Tory election campaign. Very happy.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
