I am currently in the tender arms of the NHS, besieged as it is by millions of immigrants.

Oh wait, actually the only white, British male is the porter. From consultants to pharmacists and nurses to physios they are immigrants or children of immigrants or… oh well you get the idea.

This organisation would be limited to pushing wheelchairs around without migrants.

Which is why the current debate on the subject is so disheartening. We know the economy needs immigration, it is good for growth, tax revenues and running services.

Yet Reform, Tory and now Labour are trying to pretend it is awful news and must be stopped.

Even Labour’s idea of raising labour market participation to 80% is doomed, it is not like there are a couple of million nurses, doctors or rocket scientists looking for work.

we are cutting off our noses to spite our face, because no one can be seen to tell the truth.
