I have rarely bothered with Lexiteers, the left wing Brexit supporters who seem to think the EU is a capitalist conspiracy that must be destroyed, so we can all have higher pay, longer holidays, the right to strike and a socialist utopia.
They don’t even seem to realise that it is the EU that stood up to the corporate giants and that EU social legislation is a minimum standard not a limit. It is capitalist so it must be destroyed.
But even so supporting the far right on the grounds that you will fool them into giving you what you want, rather than what they demand, is suicidally stupid.
Seeing the EU, which did more to limit Thatcherism than they did, as the enemy is worthy of the Tankies.
They are being used as useful idiots by the Ayn Rand nutters and are far too stupid to see it.
They think that the EU is the enemy, not the far right libertarian believers in Singapore on Thames.

Not sure if you’re referring to a specific person or persons, but it is worth noting during the referendum I would say what the EU achieved to protect human rights, consumer legislation, peace building and general affluence. But if someone asked me what have EU laws done to protect workers, I’d be stumped.
