Listen to Gordon.....
Gordon Brown may not have been temperamentally suited to the job of Prime Minister but he is to the job of former PM.
He does good works, gives his earnings to charity and talks common sense. He is also very experienced and well informed, unlike many of today’s politicians. journalists and commentators.
As Gordon Brown knows full well, poor people do not pay tax, they are not wealthy enough to pay tax. Tax cuts do not help them one little bit and they are the ones who are terrified of higher prices, not just higher energy prices but all prices. They are the ones who are going to suffer the most, who have to be helped.
If government’s don’t help the ones suffering most what are they for?
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
