His Tory
The intellectual void at the centre of the Brexit ultras requires a continual re-writing of history.
The knots the DUP is tying itself in to explain why the NIP must go is amazing, it is almost as if they were never told or warned this mess would happen. They scream betrayal and that they are being subjugated by the EU. The fact that for the first time in Northern Irish history the Unionists lost an election is never mentioned.
Likewise we have so called economic experts calling for a return of Kwasi’s disastrous budget, that it was never tried properly, was betrayed by the blob and remainiacs etc etc
They also seem to be trying to rewrite economic history, apparently the run on the pound and gilts never happened or was part of a Bank of England plot.
Then, of course, they have to rewrite economics, lie about the Laffer curve and trickle down economics.
Because this is how they operate, they did it before the referendum and have continued ever sense, it works for them. They state stupid opinions as facts and no one challenges them.
Their fellow travellers in the media stoke the fire for them, lay down doubts in peoples’ minds and peddle dangerous fantasies.
The UK, nor any other country, can survive this rewriting of history, this distortion of truth, this deliberate determination to ignore facts.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
