Enoch Powell followed up his notorious Rivers of Blood speech by refusing to name the poor pensioner who had dog shit pushed through her letter box by immigrants. Apparently he had to protect her identity. When we all know that the history of racism in the UK means the ones getting the dog mess on the front mat were the immigrants. He was a racist and a liar.
That sort of stuff was enough to get the scumbag thrown out of the party, he was forced to get a seat from the Ulster Unionists, it was that bad.
Now Robert Jenrick is running for the leadership of the Tory party, and is on our airwaves claiming that pensioners wake up to find illegal immigrants in their bedrooms, that he is fed up with illegal immigrants raping and murdering white English maidens at will and not being able to do anything about it.
Apparently he could do nothing about this because of the ECHR (which is not true) and we therefore have to leave. This from a former remainer and sudden convert to ultra xenophobic policies and self harm.
I have just written an article for The New European on what leaving the ECHR would mean and it is terrifying, we would be a pariah, an outcast and very much poorer. It would be far better if Jenrick was cast out into the wilderness for these sick claims, which pander to Tommy Robinson and his supporters.
But Jenrick cares not a jot for that damage, like Johnson it will be worth it if he is leader. Shameless pandering to the far right and national self harm are apparently the way to the top.
60 years ago this stuff was beyond the pale, now it is spread by a candidate for the leadership. Even the Ulster Unionists probably wouldn’t touch Jenrick with a barge pole but the Tory membership?
He is preaching to the choir.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.

They are scumbags not because their views are "different", but because they are inhuman and abhorrent. And they are clearly your views, otherwise you wouldn't be here whingeing.
Every accusation you make is a confession.
When you start calling people 'scumbags' because they hold a different opinion to you then you lose all credibility. This is sadly what we expect from people who hold your kind of views. You can't discuss the issues and concerns. You can't actually discuss matters like immigration and people's fears. You just label people 'scumbags' and the like. Great.
