Dare you
I see Sir Jim ratcliffe has those same PR advisors who always come up with ways of NOT apologising.
The “I am sorry if some people were offended by my remarks” PR types, which is not only not an apology; it pushes back by suggesting there is something wrong with the ones offended, that they are too sensitive, woke or pearl clutching.
It is an “apology” which basically means I am standing by my statement and my opinions and if you don’t like them that is your problem, but I am going to pretend to back down in order to try to get away with it.
What the football authorities will do is quite simple, probably sweet FA. So I have a small proposal, next time Man United are playing I dare the commentators to mention how many immigrants are playing. Something along the lines of:
“Man United’s Nigerian immigrant passes to its Korean immigrant and immediately onto its son of an asylum seeker, who passes it onto the head of the tall, white, aryan looking….immigrant from Denmark or is that one from Holland or Portugal? ”
Or Match of the Day could do what Swiss anti racist campaigners did when they printed pictures of the national team sans immigrants. If they showed the Man U team line up but with all the immigrants and sons of immigrants missing it would be a very small team
How many would be left do you think if Man United decided to follow its bosses plans and only played Brits? They would probably have trouble fielding a full team from their squad and would be murdered on the pitch by other teams of “colonists” who have “flooded“ the premier league.
Let’s face it football in the UK is dominated by immigrants, it attracts the best in the world regardless of race, religion or colour and is all the better for it, as is the country.
Sir Jim should know that actions speak louder than words. But then he also knows what would happen if he handicapped his own team or even his numerous British businesses by only employing true blue Brits.
We all do really.

Has anyone approached the Premier League and the FA to ask how his comments square with the “Kick It Out” campaign and the FA rules about being a “fit and proper” person and not bringing the game into disrepute?
