Joe Biden has issued a presidential pardon to his own son, it seems that Trumpism is catching.
What an awful example to set. What will Trump now feel empowered to do once he is back in the Oval Office? This is just the kind of stuff that leads to people saying that all politicians are the same, and therefore there is nothing wrong with electing frauds, bankrupts, rapists and treasonous demagogues.
Trump can now pardon anyone and everyone who tried to overthrow the result of the 2020 election, and claim that he is doing no worse than Biden. All those fraudsters, cheats and Russian assets are now free as a bird to do whatever they want, knowing that they will be pardoned.
If Biden has any real character left he would pardon everyone that Trump is going to come after, the lawyers and police officers who tried to enforce the law, the investigators and prosecutors.
But no, pardon family members first, so that even if Joe does protect those who face being persecuted by the MAGA nutters, they will still be tarred with the same brush as Hunter Biden.
Class act.

Can you pardon someone for future prosecutions? I think you’ve strayed into an area of the law that may not exist?
