Gillian Keegan seems to have spent a whole career in the shadows only to emerge like some political may fly. Doomed to live just one day in the light, unless a predator gets her earlier. Things are so bad, she will soon have the full confidence of the PM.
The arrogance and entitlement she showed over the last few days is staggering but doubtless it is not her actual attitude but letting it show that will do for her.
Even that was not quite as bad as her cabinet colleagues who are apparently furious she has let the cat out of the bag about the huge dangers of not maintaining your infrastructure in nearly every other part of the government. If only they could have kept it quiet for another year or so.
The difference between this government and the scorched earth retreat of a beaten army it is increasingly difficult to see. But at least a defeated army is humbled , frightened and humiliated.
It is the entitlement and arrogance of third rate, incompetent, callous, uncaring, useless, irresponsible, political nobodies that is the hardest to bear.
It would serve them right if they won the next general election. The look on their faces. It would almost be worth it.
Almost.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.

“Almost” - brilliant, just brilliant!
