A sense of history
One would struggle to realise, from their statements, that the candidates for the Tory leadership have been in charge of the country for the last 12 years. Or that they have any idea of the state of the country.
They are all committed to breaking international law, shipping asylum seekers to Africa, and cutting taxes with absolutely no idea of where the money is coming from or what they would have to cut to fund it.
The legacy of Johnson and Brexit will be not only a broken political system where lying and cheating win but one where a complete disconnect exists between Conservative policies and reality.
It would be nice to believe they are all saying these things to get elected and then will change into rational, logical, sensible, law abiding human beings.
Fat chance, they are all riding a tiger and cannot get off and they are taking us with them.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
