A modest proposal
I see that our Prime Minister is going to have a press conference outside No. 10 again. Presumably about the Rwandan flights bill, right on the middle of the campaign for the local elections when party political broadcasts are strictly limited.
So here’s a proposal. Either all the news channels should refuse to cover ot or if they do and the PM makes one reference to elections, the opposition or opponents of the scheme, they should switch away immediately and tell their audience that they are legally not allowed to provide the Tory party with extra, free party political broadcasts.
What do you think? Likely to happen? No me neither, but it should.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
