A liar is just going to liar
I was invited to have a chat with a PR agency recently and pointed out that they can exaggerate, promote, bolster and talk up their clients but the second they lie to me they are dead to me. Forever.
If only that applied in politics, as it used to.
If you thought lying was bad before just wait for the lying over the Northern Ireland Protocol.
Already we have had:
The EU broke the terms of the NIP not the UK
It was always a temporary arrangement
The deal was forced on Johnson by remainers
NI is suffering economically
The threat to tear up the NIP is a great negotiating card
Etc etc etc
How about Boris Johnson lied and lied again about his own proposal so he could present an “oven ready deal” and win a general election and had no intention of ever honouring it or his word.
Now he is stabbing his third PM in the back and lying through his teeth.
The damage to the country and its reputation is incalculable.
There, sorted for you.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
