The latest craze on the right of the Tory party is to be more Argentinian. Yes, apparently they have elected a populist with a chain saw in Argentina, who is abolishing whole departments of government and firing civil servants en masse In a desperate and doomed attempt to balance the budget and end decades of economic mismanagement and decline.
Javier Milei, calls himself a libertarian and 'anarcho-capitalist', so he is a fascist. But this is the right’s new hero.
Why?
Because the UK is collapsing, we are weak addicts, who need the cold turkey of private health care, minimal government, lower taxes and compulsory work for the lazy.
In short a fascist loon on the other side of the world, in a collapsing government, and bankrupt country, is the new role model. Nothing illustrates better the complete nervous breakdown that the government and the Tory party is suffering from.
Liz Truss has apparently written a book in a similar vein “Ten years to save the West”.
The author and her book title tell you all you need to know. The Tory party’s worst ever leader thinks she is a Joan the Baptist of our age. She has shown the way, but was betrayed and her premiership decapitated, now it only needs the arrival of the Messiah, to lead us.
We will be lucky if we end up like Argentina at this rate. These are dangerous waters.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.

A fascist is someone who acts as if sovereignty of decision making lies presumptively in the collective rather than the individual, identifies the collective with an ethnic group (usually the majority group) within a nation state, considers the will of that group to be expressed by a specific leader and that repressive measures are justified to enforce the leader's will against any dissent.
Anarcho-capitalism doesn't fit the fascist bill since it doesn't really believe in the state at all (except maybe as a police force to protect property). Its another manifestation of the resistance by wealth oligarchies and aristocracies to democratic claims on their wealth and status, especially in times of rampant inequality. Its probably the ethnic issue that makes the difference. But Milei is strongly pro-Israel so he's an unlikely Argentine fascist.
Truss also claimed to some US right-wing think tank that her plans for the UK were thwarted by the “deep state” - Joan the Baptist martyred by the blob (just like Trump isn’t anything like Navalnyev!). Bonkers and dangerous is one hell of a combo
