11X12
It is a long time since I learnt my 12 times table but let’s try it out. This government has been in power for 12 years and Liz Truss still says there is £11bn to be saved from the Civil Service each and every year.
So, since it came into power this government has wasted 12X11 billion or £132 billion.
If it had made these obvious and huge savings in the first year of austerity it would have saved £132bn by now, how could it have missed this open goal? What has it been wasting its time and resources doing if it was not saving £11bn a year?
Or, is this a load of utter tosh from a desperate candidate for a fantasy party still feasting on its wet dreams about civil service waste and a bloated remainiac bureaucracy?
If Labour proposed these savings they would be mercilessly mocked, belittled and hung out to dry.
But the 4th PM in 12 years for a party with no realistic economic policies, will be allowed to lie, cause immense damage, ruin the country’s finances and slash and burn the state; all in a failed attempt to make the fantasy figures work.
.
Economics, trade and Brexit, not necessarily in that order but the dog always comes first.
